“My next bike trip will be probably around the house under the watchful eyes of my wife,” said Madis Paluoja, one of the seven Estonian released on Thursday after being kidnapped in Lebanon’s eastern Bekaa valley on March 23.
The latest pictures from AFP show a heartwarming reunion for the bikers and their families. The freed men returned to their Baltic homeland less than 24 hours after their release.
According to reports, they were given a free ride on a special Estonian Air flight and personally escorted by Foreign Minister Urmas Paet.
They arrived in the capital of Tallinn around 4 a.m.
