Sudanese escape death, but not General Security

And you thought you were unlucky.

Two of the survivors of the Achrafieh building collapse managed to escape death, but were later arrested at a nearby hospital for their illegal immigrant status, according to a report from the Daily Star.

And to think: at least two sanitation jobs (or some other form of unskilled labor) have been saved as a result of this diligent effort by General Security…

I suddenly feel compelled to write a new entry in my ‘gratitude’ journal.
